Loading to capacity
- 1. Different types of clothing material may need to be put into your appliance in different volumes. For example, a typical 10kg machine may perform at its best if the following guideline weights are used:
- Cotton fabrics — 10kg
- Jeans — 4kg
- Synthetic fabrics — 5kg
- Mixed fabrics — 5kg
- Woollens — 2 kg
- 2. To help you judge approximate weights of your washing, typical items are:
- 1 sheet — about 500g of cotton
- 1 woolen sweater — about 400g of wool
- 1 pair of socks — about 50g of cotton
- 1 pair of jeans — about 800g of cotton
- 1 bath towel — about 300g of cotton
