    Unplug the appliance, make sure you keep the plug out of any spilled water.

  • 2. Locate the drainage hose.

    Check the drainage hose for kinks and bends as these can be the cause of blockages or slow drainage. Also make sure that the hose is not crushed or trapped under or behind the appliance.

    Remove the drainage hose from the waste pipe connection or standpipe.

  • 5.

    Use a thin implement to clean and clear any blockages in the drainage hose (or waste pipework).

    Replace the drainage hose and run the appliance to check it is clear.
