The new oven smells
The new oven may have a slight smell the first time it is used. This is normal and is caused by the protective insulation material on the heater elements. Before using the oven carry out the following.
- 1.
Remove all components, including any delivery packaging and accessories from the oven. Clean all accessories and utensils in warm water and detergent.
Do not use any abrasive cleaners. - 2. Rotating the knob, select Pro, press the knob to confirm your choice.
- 3.
Rotate the knob to the required cooking mode (e.g. Top + Bottom heat). Press the knob to confirm the selection.
- 4.
Rotate the knob to the required cooking temperature (e.g. 200°C). Press the knob to confirm the selection.
- 5.
Rotate the knob to 01:00 (1 hour) and press the knob to confirm the selection.
The cook time will displayed, followed by the end time of the cooking process. - 6.
Press the start/ stop key to begin.
- 7.
When the cooking time has ended, the Finish menu will display. Using the knob select an option (E.g. Finish) and press the knob to confirm the selection.
- 8.
Before cleaning turn the oven off at the mains power.
- 9.
Allow the oven to cool before using hot soapy water to wipe down the oven.
