Cooking safety

Never operate the cooking zone without saucepans or pans on.
- 2.
Always position saucepans or pans over the centre of the cooking zone and turn the handles to a safe position so they can’t be knocked off.
- 3.
Only use flat saucepans or pans with a sufficiently thick base.
- 4.
If possible, always place a lid on the saucepan.
- 5.
Ensure the base of the saucepan or pan is dry before placing onto the cooking zone.
- 6.
To conserve energy, never use a saucepan or pan which is smaller than the selected cooking zone.
- 7.
Do not use saucepans or pans with a damaged base, as this can scratch the cooking zone surface.
