• 1. Rust in the appliance is caused by an overdose of dishwasher salt or of salt residue left in the appliance without rinsing away.
    Some dishwasher tablets also contain added salt.
  • 2. Ensure all excess salt residue is washed away after refilling.
    Do not use non-dishwasher salt (e.g. Table salt) this will damage the appliance.
  • 3. Perform a maintenance wash immediately after filling up the salt to wash away any excess.
