Dishwashers

1. Rust in the appliance is caused by an overdose of dishwasher salt or of salt residue left in the appliance without rinsing away.

Some dishwasher tablets also contain added salt.

2. Ensure all excess salt residue is washed away after refilling.

Do not use non-dishwasher salt (e.g. Table salt) this will damage the appliance.

3. Perform a maintenance wash immediately after filling up the salt to wash away any excess.
