Using bridged cooking zone

Bridge cooking zones allows you to combine two cooking zones into a single large connected cooking zone. The pan has to be large enough to cover the centres of the upper and lower cooking zone.

1.

To turn the appliance on. Press the On/ Off key for at least one second.

The power indicator will turn on accompanied by a beep.

If no operation is activated within 10 seconds, the appliance will turn off.

Simultaneously touch both Power decrease keys for 3 seconds.

The sign ā€œnā€ will appear on the display unit for the rear field to indicate that the two cooking zones are bridged.

4.

Touch the Power increase key for low power setting (4), or the Power decrease key for high power setting (9).

Note: The bridged zone does not allow the Rapid Boil setting. The maximum cooking setting is 9.

5. Touch the Power increase key or the Power decrease key to select the desired cooking power (E.g., 6).

To deactivate the bridged cooking zone, touch the Power decrease key until the cooking power is 0.

The sign ā€œnā€ will disappear and the heating will be switched off.

7.

Both cooking zones will now operate independently.
