Cleaning the surface
Warning: Wait for the hob to be completely cool before cleaning the surface.

Ensure the hob is turned off and there is no residual heat in any of the Cooking zones.

If the food is not burnt onto the surface, use a wet soft non-abrasive cloth.
3.
If the food is burnt onto the surface use a metallic scraper.
Important: Only use a scraper in exceptional circumstances making sure to avoid scraping any printed graphics on the surface. Apply warm soapy water with a soft non-abrasive cloth.
Only use the scraper if absolutely necessary, incorrect use may damage your hob. For more information on using a scraper see the user manual.

For stubborn burnt on food use a cleaning product or solution that is approved and safe for cleaning the surface. Follow the instructions on the cleaning product.

If aluminium foil, plastics or sugar based products are accidentally melted onto the surface, remove immediately using a metallic scraper to avoid possible damage to the cooking surface.
