Fridge Freezers

Recommended position for types of food

Always follow the food storage times and use by dates suggested.

1. Meat and Fish: Ensure that it is stored in suitable containers, and placed on the glass shelf above the salad drawer.

Note: Ensure that raw meat and fish do not come in to contact with other food.

2. Cooked food, cold dishes etc: Cover and place on any shelf.

Note: Do not place hot food directly into the appliance, the internal temperature will increase resulting in the compressor having to work harder and will consume more energy.

3. Fruit and Vegetables: Store in the salad drawer at the bottom of the Fridge.

4. Butter and Cheese: Ensure that it is covered in air tight food wrapping and can be placed on the upper shelves or door shelves.

5. Milk Bottles: Ensure they have a lid on and can be stored in the door racks.

6. Place food evenly throughout the appliance so that air can circulate around it. Ensure food is covered or wrapped particularly if it has a strong flavour.
