• WARNING: DO NOT attempt to use your washing machine without removing all the transit bolts and shipping packaging first. This can result in damage to your machine.
  • 1. The appliance comes supplied with a special spanner for bolt removal,this can be found packed inside the washing machine on delivery.

    The bolts are located on the back of the machine.
  • 2. Turn the bolt anti-clockwise to loosen it enough to be turned by hand.
  • 3. Keep turning the bolt anti-clockwise by hand or with the spanner and remove.
    Try not to drag the bolt along the metal frame of the appliance as this could damage the bolt and the paint on the appliance.
  • 4. Gently push the plastic blanking cover provided into the bolt hole.
  • 5. Repeat the procedure for the remaining transit bolts.
    Label and store the bolts in a sealable bag. Keep these somewhere safe where you will be able to find it in the future.
  • 6. To remove the polystyrene shipping block, carefully tilt the appliance back.
    Take care: the appliance will be very heavy, you may need some help to move it.
  • 7. Pull the polystyrene block out from under the appliance.
