• 1. The appliance has not emptied. Check the drain pipe is not knotted or frozen.
    Select and start the drain programme or push the reset button for 3 seconds, then restart the desired programme.

  • 2. Check that the filter in the drain pump is not blocked.

  • 3. Check that the drain pipe spigot on the sink is open and the end cap has been removed.

  • 4. The drain hose needs to be elevated to a height of between 65cm and 100cm, this allows the waste water to drain away more efficiently and stop water being let back into the appliance. Check the exact details for the recommend height of the drain hose in the user manual for your appliance.
    Note: Where possible you should not extend the drain hose.
  • 5. Check for blockages in the drain hose and any connected waste-water pipework. Check the drain hose is not trapped under the appliance.
    These may prevent waste water draining effectively.
