Using automatic rapid heating
Note: Auto rapid heating is suitable for foods that can be heated up to maximum heat first, then cooked for a longer period of time. Not suitable for frying, braising or sauteing foods.
Note: When rapid heating is active, power to the remaining cooking zones is reduced.
- 1.
Turn on the appliance by pressing On/ Off key for at least one second.
If no operation is activated within 10 seconds, the hob will turn off.
- 2.
The power indicator will turn on accompanied by a beep.
If no operation is activated within 10 seconds, the hob will turn off.
- 3. Place a suitable pan on the desired cooking zone.
- 4.
To use rapid heating, press and hold the corresponding Power increase key until you hear a short beep.
- 5.
The A and 9 will flash alternately on the display.
- 6.
Press the Power decrease key to set the cooking power you wish to cook at after rapid heating. (E.g. 3).
- 7.
A and your selected power setting (E.g. 3) will flash alternately until the rapid heating time expires.
During this time power to the remaining cooking zones will be reduced. - 8.
The Cooking zone will automatically switch to the desired cooking power.
- 9.
To deactivate automatic rapid heating at any time, press the Power decrease key.
