    Check that the cooker is turned on at the mains power.

    Check that the hob circuit is switched ON at the fuse board (also known as the Consumer Unit or Distribution Board). If either, or both, the hob switch or the RCD (if your fuse board has one) is in the OFF position, check for any faults with the hob and try switching the switches back into the ON position.

    If either or both switches trip back into the OFF position, contact an electrician or your installation engineer to investigate the faults.

    The hob will normally have its own circuit breaker switch.

  • 3.

    Check that the Power increase key has been turned to the desired temperature.

  • 4. Ensure the correct amount of distancing between other units where the hob is positioned and installed.
    The hob may not have adequate ventilation, causing the thermal safety cut off to trigger.
