• 1. Check that you have power switched on to the appliance.
  • 2. Check that the temperature adjustment knob (thermostat) has not been set to 0.
  • 3. Check the plug and lead for damage.
  • 4. Try another electrical appliance in the socket and see if it works. If it does not then it may be the electrical socket in your home at fault.

    If your appliance is connected via an extension cable try another or try plugging it directly into the mains.
  • 5. Check the fuse in your power supply and replace if necessary.
  • 6. Check to see if the ambient temperature is too low. Try setting the temperature to a colder level.
